So yes, here I am. I have finally begun what I have been flapping about for the past some time.
I am displaying here two new seperate pieces. For the most part I am sticking to my two favorite sizes 3'x4' and
the 5'x6'.
In both pieces, as I always do, I have begun with painting the flesh. I do this to have the figures
begin to develop the space and character of the piece. Once the figure begins to dictate spacial relations in
the piece I am then given more freedom to let my imagination run wild uncovering endless possiblilites that the remaining
environment might entail. With the piece with the lounging figure I am currently exploring the different directions
in patterns that will best suit the composition of the piece in relevance to my main cues. Historically, culturally,
spacially, and compositionally.
